Land O' Lakes, WI – Where the Fun Never Melts!
Tucked away in the Northwoods like a hidden gem wrapped in pine needles, Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin is much more than just an awesome name—it’s a full-blown festival of fun all year long!
Summer time? Oh, it’s on. Think lake days, art walks, weekly farmers markets and the kind of community cookouts that end in spontaneous dance parties. The Fourth of July parade alone is worth the trip—complete with quirky floats, fire trucks, and enough candy to bribe a small army of kids, ending in the now famous Party in the Park with headline Music Acts, Waterslides, Games, Drinks, Food and Bounce Houses, for the kids & for the Adults!!!! The 3rd of July Fireworks at the Gateway Airport have become one of the largest Fireworks shows in all of the Northwoods, so large we not only promise you'll see and love our fireworks show, you'll feel them too.
Winter in LOL (yes, that’s the real abbreviation), brings snowmobiles, skiing, and snowshoes out of hibernation and onto the trails? The Trails? Pristine. The hot cocoa? Endless. Free Ice Skating at the Snowflake Ice Rink, with Skates provided, FOR FREE!!! Land O' Lakes is an endless wonderland for snowmobilers and we sit at the top of Wisconsin as the Gateway to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with THOUSANDS of miles of Trails.
Love to fish? You’ll feel right at home. Whether it’s casting off at sunrise or battling the ice in winter tournaments, Land O’ Lakes takes fishing very seriously—but always with a smile (and maybe a beer in hand). Professional Fisherman and host of Fishing University Ben Ballou calls Land O' Lakes, "A True Fisherman's Paradise."
Spring in Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin is a season of renewal and natural beauty. As the snow melts away, the forests come alive with blooming wildflowers and the sweet scent of thawing earth. Loons return to the lakes, their calls echoing across the water. It’s maple syrup season, with local producers tapping trees and boiling sap. Gardens are planted with care, anticipating summer’s bounty. And each evening, the skies light up with some of the most breathtaking sunsets on earth—a perfect end to every spring day.
Fall is pure postcard perfection, with blazing foliage and the kind of cozy vibes that make you want to wrap up in a flannel and never leave, visit Land O' Lakes in the Fall and you'll see why so many visit from all over the world visit this time of year.
