Get outside and play! Nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, the Town of Conover hosts this annual winter event. Blizzard Blast activities include Ice Bowling, Slap Shot Hockey, Dogsled Dash, Skating, Sledding, Children’s Carnival, an Artisan Bazaar, and more!

The Winter Event That Supports Local Fire and EMS Departments The members of the Fire and EMS Departments of Conover, Phelps, and Land O’ Lakes are all volunteers. Northwoods Blizzard Blast helps support continued training and the purchase of needed equipment so that these volunteers may serve their communities to the best of their abilities. Join us: February 18. 2023 at the Conover Community Park on Highway K from 10AM – 4PM for a flurry of winter fun while supporting our communities in the beautiful Northwoods.
