Explore beautiful, wild and remote land on your own power in Land O’ Lakes. The area offers a great mix of riding options that will take you through northern Wisconsin and into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan's wilderness beyond. You’ll find more than 75 miles of scenic shared-use trails and routes that pass though some of the most beautiful country on the planet.

Land O’ Lakes has some great trail options that offer miles of smooth riding. The Land O’ Lakes Bike and Pedestrian Trail heads 12 miles west out of Land O’ Lakes, traveling through stands of white pine and hemlock trees. The paved trail passes by a beach and picnic area at Black Oak Lake, a lake that’s known as the clearest in Wisconsin.

The Agonikak National Recreation Trail is a riding option that will take you beyond the Wisconsin border, north of Land O’ Lakes and into Michigan. The trail has a compacted gravel surface and travels through remote forests before ending at the Ottawa Visitor Center.
Road bikers will find nearly unlimited scenic riding options around Land O’ Lakes. If you’re looking to log some miles, fill up your bottles and grab some spare tubes – these are routes that will take you deep into the backcountry. There are loops surrounding the Sylvania Wilderness that range from 11 to 40 miles, leading to endless additional rides extending beyond the park. Another popular riding route is the 22-mile Eagle River-Land O’ Lakes Bike Route. The route follows a mix of scenic county and town roads to the north side of Eagle River.

This system traverses two (2) states, encircles the Sylavania Wilderness Recreation Area and combines segments of aggregate bike paths, paved bike paths (Land O’Lakes Bike Trail), and road bike routes. The system provides access to the 12 mile Agonikak National Trail, a 10-12 foot wide gravel trail between the Ottawa Visitor Center and the Michigan Roadside Park just north of Land O’Lakes. The trail winds around remote lakes and through the woods with a 40 foot pedestrian/bicycle bridge crossing Duck Creek.
